Excitement Toward the End of the 2019 Harvest
As we come closer to finishing our 2019 Harvest I feel very excited about our wines, both current and future releases. Lots of travel over the past few months having spent harvest in California working on trying to deliver the best wine possible for your enjoyment. As I suggested in the past, wine is made in the vineyard and these selections will showcase all the typicity of the regions which I have been so fortunate to produce wines from. These wines represent the Santa Maria Valley AVA, specifically to this release will be 2 wines from the Tinaquaic Vineyard which remains the only “Dry Farmed” vineyard in the region. The release will include 2016 Co^lluvial “FRF” Tinaquiaic Vineyard Cabernet Franc as well as 2017 Co^lluvial “Las Nenas” Tinaquaic Vineyard Chardonnay from Santa Maria Valley. In addition, it includes the 2015 Co^lluvial “Las Nenas” Riverbench Pinot Noir which comes from an alluvial site with a complex terroir.
